7 vehicles towed during weekend sideshows

(KRON) — Seven vehicles were towed during illegal sideshows in Oakland over the weekend, according to the Oakland Police Department. Oakland PD officers also wrote up 11 citations and recovered a firearm during the enforcements, the department said on X, formerly Twitter.

Photos posted to X showed two of the vehicles. One was a silver BMW four-door. The other was a four-door sedan with tinted rear windows.

Vehicles seized during illegal sideshows are subject to being towed and held for 30 days, police said.
