West Virginia tow truck driver struck by vehicle succumbs to injuries

BERKELEY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia tow truck driver who was struck by a vehicle has succumbed to his injuries.

According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department, local tow truck driver Kyle Stephens was struck by a vehicle on I-81 in Berkeley County Wednesday night.

Stephens was a well-known individual in the community and assisted the sheriff’s office and others on a daily basis.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that Stephens succumbed to his injuries.

Statement issued by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office on Friday:

“Sheriff Blair and the members of the Sheriff’s Dept. would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Kyle Stephens, who passed away this morning. Kyle was a good man and he will be missed by many. We are praying for all those who knew him during this difficult time. We hope your happy memories give you peace and comfort in the coming days.“
