Penn State DE Abdul Carter accused of assaulting tow truck driver | WETM

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WTAJ) — Penn State defensive lineman Abdul Carter is facing an assault charge. The first team All Big Ten at linebacker last year is being accused of assaulting a tow truck driver last month.

WTAJ reached out to Penn State for comment and received the following response.

“We are aware of the charges against Abdul Carter. These alleged actions do not reflect the values and standards of our program and will be addressed. We will not comment any further as this is an ongoing legal matter.”

Last September Carter was charged after police say he admitted to using marijuana inside of his dorm room.
