dallas — An 18-wheeler went partially over a downtown Dallas interstate bridge Wednesday morning, as heavy rains moved through North Texas for several hours, officials say.
The crash happened on southbound U.S. 75/Interstate 345, near the Live Oak exit, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said the crash involved an 18-wheeler that was hanging off the side of the highway bridge. The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The crash was causing heavy backups along U.S. 75 and Interstate 345 into and through downtown Dallas.
