AAA activates 'Tow to Go' in Wisconsin for Memorial Day weekend
The program provides free transportation to prevent impaired driving

AAA will activate its "Tow to Go" program at 6 p.m. Friday ahead of Memorial Day weekend. According to a release from AAA, the Tow to Go program offers free towing for impaired drivers and their cars. When a driver calls Tow to Go, AAA dispatches a tow truck to transport the car and driver to a safe location within a 10-mile area. The service is free for everyone, even if a driver is not an AAA member. Tow to Go will be active from 6 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Tuesday. It will be available in Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, Tennessee and Wisconsin. It will also be available in Denver, CO; Charlotte, NC; and Fort Wayne and South Bend, IN. Tow to Go might not be available in rural areas or during severe weather.
