The Mavericks and Celtics will face off for the right to call themselves World Champions starting Thursday night. For Boston, a Finals win would be their historic and league-best eighteenth championship. For Dallas, they seek their second title overall, and for their 25-year-old star, the crowning as the undeniable force of the sport.
WFAA will air all games and is also hosting a special presentation called "The Pregame" before each and every matchup in the 2024 series.
Throughout these 30-minute presentations, which will air an hour before each game's tipoff, will feature insights from the WFAA Sports team -- lead anchor Joe Trahan, anchors/reporters Mike Leslie and Jonah Javad, and sports reporter Michelle Montaine -- and from special guest analyst and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member Nancy Lieberman.
