Arlington police investigating man’s shooting death; suspect at large

A man died after being shot late Wednesday in an arlington neighborhood.

Officers responded about 10:15 p.m. to the 2400 block of Hollandale Circle, near Carter Drive, after someone reported hearing gunshots and seeing a man lying on the ground, police said. They found the victim, who had an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died.

He was identified as Rameses Leonard Forward, 22, according to county medical examiner records.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Detectives are canvassing the area and looking for surveillance video and witnesses.
