Arrest made in Dec. 2023 fatal hit-and-run of tow truck driver

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV)- An arrest has been made in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in 2023 in Jasper County.

On Dec. 27, a tow truck driver was killed while assisting a motorist on Frontage Road about two miles north of Ridgeland, according to the Jasper County Coroner’s Office.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Eric Albertson of Ridgeland.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol was able to confirm the driver of the hit-and-run.

Joshua Frazier, 36, was identified and arrested on Wednesday, April 3, in connection to the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed Albertson.
