Crystal Mendoza Obituary - Grand Prairie, TX

Crystal “Coco” Mendoza left this world suddenly on February 18, 2024, at the age of 22. She was born on November 21, 2001, to Hector and Maria Mendoza. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, and pet owner.

Crystal embraced life with a vibrant spirit, finding joy in every moment. She had a passion for adventure, often seen hiking scenic trails, exploring new destinations, and enjoying lively gatherings with friends and family. Her love for animals, particularly her cherished dog Gypsy, brought her immense happiness. In addition to her adventurous spirit, Crystal was dedicated in pursuing her dreams of making her family, particularly her father, very proud by getting her degree in Business Administration in Human Resources at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Crystal is survived by her parents, Hector & Maria Mendoza; a sister, Bridget Mendoza; a brother, Hector Jr. Mendoza; a brother, Osvaldo Garcia; a nephew, Lucca Izael Garcia; grandparents; a very special aunt, Rocio Guzman; & many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Crystals’ family has paid tribute, “To our Coco, the most unapologetic, resilient, and beautiful soul, thank you for the endless memories. We love you, always and forever”.

On February 29, 2024, a wake to honor Crystal’s life will be held at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, grand prairie, TX at 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. On March 1, 2024, a memorial mass will be held at Santa Clara Catholic Church, dallas, TX at 12:00 PM, following a burial service at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, Grand Prairie, TX at 2:00 PM.
