Dallas police arrest two suspects in connection with N. Masters Drive homicide | North Texas

dallas, Texas — Dallas police have arrested two suspects in connection with the June 9 homicide on N. Masters Drive, including a 15-year-old juvenile and 19-year-old Jamarion White.

On July 2, 2024, Dallas police arrested a 15-year-old and charged him with murder. Due to the suspect being a juvenile, his name will not be released, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department.

Previously, on June 20, 2024, 19-year-old Jamarion White was arrested for murder in the same case.

The incident occurred on June 9, 2024, at approximately 10:45 PM, when Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 100 block of N. Masters Drive. Upon arrival, officers found 18-year-old Kevin Hernandez shot on the ground. Dallas Fire Rescue transported Hernandez to a local hospital, where he later died.
