Hamrick’s towing allegedly violates sheriff’s contract; state law

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson says Hamrick’s towing and Recovery has violated their towing contract with the sheriff’s office and state law.

The sheriff sent two letters to Hamrick’s towing outlining several violations. Sheriff Robinson says Hamrick’s towing drivers inflated charges in an effort to increase their commission.

The letter also claims an investigation revealed that Hamrick’s never submitted required environmental cleanup reports, despite frequently billing hundreds of dollars for tows involving environmental cleanups.

Eyewitness News has reached out to Hamrick’s Towing and we are waiting to hear back.
