Joann Collier Obituary - Grand Prairie, TX

Joann Collier departed this life on March 06, 2024. She will always be known for her love of family and adventure. She and her beloved husband Mike shared in many outdoor adventures. The countless stories of hiking, biking, and spelunking will remain as treasured memories. If you were to pass Joann on a trail, you would find her to be strong. She carried her hiking bag on their trips which could weigh up to 70 lbs. at times. A lover of all things outdoors, most notably her favorite place to be was on the family ranch. Many adventures were to be had there as well. A grandmother who instilled that same sense of adventure into her granddaughter. As an avid sports grandmother to her precious granddaughter (AKA Rascal) and her teammates, Joann was not known to miss a game cheering and rooting for the girls. She was everyone’s grandmother and number one fan. All who knew and loved her would say she had a life well lived. The devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, coworker, and the many other hats she wore will leave a legacy most will feel blessed to have been a part of. Joann will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to be a part of her life.

Joann was proceeded in death by her parents Joe and Anita Harris, Brother JD Harris, Son and Daughter Lisa and Larry Williams. She is survived by her loving husband Mike Collier, Daughter LeAnn (Raul) Munoz, and Granddaughter Brittany Munoz “the little rascal”.

A family gathering will be held on March 16,2024 at 11:00 am at grand prairie Funeral Home
