Libraries Across DFW Metroplex to Participate in 2024 Texas Rangers Summer Reading Club With Eric Nadel
The Texas Rangers Summer Reading Club is back for 2024, encouraging students across the Metroplex to set and exceed reading goals while on summer vacation.
Rangers Hall of Fame broadcaster Eric Nadel will serve as the honorary chairman of the Rangers Reading Club and host two in-person readings in dallas. Texas Rangers right-handed pitcher Kirby Yates will join Nadel for the third and final event at arlington’s George W. Hawkes Downtown Library.

Reading logs and additional information on the program are available at all participating libraries for students in grades K through 12. To become an official summer Reading Club All-Star, students will record the number of minutes they read Monday through Friday over four weeks.
Participants who complete their summer reading goals will receive an exclusive club bookmark with instructions on how to redeem a free children’s ticket to a Rangers home game on Sunday, Aug. 4, versus the Boston Red Sox, Sunday, Aug. 18, versus the Minnesota Twins, or Sunday, Sept. 8, versus the Los Angeles Angels.
