More of what LSU baseball's 2025 schedule will look like is coming out.
In February of next season, the Tigers will travel to arlington, Texas to face dallas Baptist at the Texas Rangers' Globe Life Field as part of the annual College Baseball Series that benefits the Shriners Children's Hospital.
Game is slated for Wednesday, Feb. 26. A start time has yet to the be determined.
Announcement of LSU's participation in the event marks the first nonconference date known for next season.
The flagship event, the Shriners Children's College Showdown will run Feb. 14-16 and will feature Arizona, Clemson, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Texas. The College Baseball Series then starts with games being played from Feb. 21 through March 2, both weekend and midweek games such as LSU's matchups with Dallas Baptist.
Other games include Arkansas, Georgia, TCU and Michigan on the weekend of Feb. 21-23 followed by Auburn, Baylor, Ohio State and Oregon State the next weekend. Midweek games include Oklahoma State-Texas State, UT-Arlington-Oklahoma and LSU-DBU.
Earlier this week, LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson revealed which SEC teams the Tigers will face during the 2025 season.
LSU will play Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri and Tennessee at home while visiting Auburn, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Texas A&M next season.
"A few will rotate off and then a few back on," Johnson said. "Sometimes you don't play somebody for two years and then you play them three years in a row. Then there's (teams) you're playing every other year.
"It's a 13-year rotation."
