mansfield, Texas — Volunteers in Policing (VIPs) members were recognized with Presidential Volunteer Service Awards by City Council Woman Tamera Bounds and Police Chief Aaron.

The awards, presented yesterday evening, acknowledged the VIPs' volunteer hours for 2022 and 2023, which totaled over 1,000 hours, according to the Mansfield Police Department. The Presidential Volunteer Service Awards, from the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation, honor individuals whose service positively impacts communities nationwide through volunteerism.

"This is our way of thanking our VIPs members for taking time from their personal lives to support the Mansfield Police Department," stated the source.
