Residents in Cardiff were left in stitches after spotting a caravan being towed through the city streets... by a mobility scooter.
In what could be mistaken for a scene straight out of a sketch show, this bizarre spectacle occurred over the Easter weekend in 2023 in the Ely area of the Welsh capital.
Footage of the incident was shared online thousands of times in the space of a few short days, with people incredulous at the short clip, reports Wales Online.
In the viral video, a hefty white caravan can be seen attached to a modest blue mobility scooter. The clip shows two men struggling to ensure the caravan is securely hitched to the scooter.
The footage is filmed from a passing car and someone in the vehicle shares their utter disbelief at the situation, something shared by many other viewers.
From behind the camera, someone can be heard to say: "What the f*** like!" This is quickly followed up with a localised quip: "Only in Ely."

The footage sparked a massive response on social media, with many Facebook users finding the situation "hilarious" and admitting that the video had them "creased". One commenter humorously remarked that it was just "another day in TOWIE (The Only Way is Ely)."
This isn't the first occurrence of such an inventive use of a mobility scooter in Wales. In 2022, there was a similar sighting in Rhyl.
A young lad was filmed riding the scooter and dragging the massive caravan along the road with just a single rope tied to the tow bar.
