ALL RIGHT, WELL, BACK HERE AT HOME AT 1217 MIGHT BE A GOOD DAY TO MAYBE GET OUT AND WORK IN THE YARD A LITTLE BIT AFTER. YOU KNOW, WE WERE SO WATERLOGGED FOR SO LONG OVER THIS WEEKEND. I THINK THOSE LAWNS ARE FINALLY STARTING TO DRY OUT. YEAH, SATURDAY WAS SUCH A STRANGE DAY BECAUSE WE STARTED SO WET FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. YEAH, BY THE AFTERNOON. AND WE WERE LIKE, HEY, IT’S GREAT SKIES. WE’RE CLEARING OUT. IT WAS VERY NICE, I KNOW, HOPING FOR MORE OF THE SAME FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. WELL, THINGS ARE GOING TO BE DRY, BUT WE DID PICK UP SOME, SOME PRETTY GOOD RAIN OVER THE WEEKEND, AND I ACTUALLY WENT BACK INTO THE ALMANAC, SO TO SPEAK. WE’RE PRETTY CLEAR RIGHT NOW WITH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES, BUT LET’S LOOK BACK TO THE ENTIRE YEAR BECAUSE, YOU KNOW,. 2023 EXTREMELY DRY. WELL, IT’S BEEN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY IN 2024, AT LEAST AT LOUIS ARMSTRONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, WE’VE HAD 32IN OF RAIN SO FAR. THAT’S ABOUT TEN INCHES ABOVE NORMAL TO THIS POINT IN THE YEAR. BATON ROUGE ABOUT THREE INCHES ABOVE NORMAL SLIDELL FOUR INCHES GULFPORT ABOUT THREE INCHES ABOVE AVERAGE. LOOK AT GONZALES ABOUT SEVEN INCHES ABOVE AVERAGE. SO YES, IF YOU THINK THIS HAS BEEN A WET YEAR, YOU ARE CORRECT, SIR. PHIL HARTMAN WOULD SAY THERE’S A LIVE LOOK AT WDS FIRST WARNING RADAR. OUR CURRENT CONDITIONS AT LOUIS ARMSTRONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT INCLUDE AN 86 DEGREE READING WITH A DEW POINT OF 71. NOW, ANYTIME THE DEW POINT IS IN THE 70S. YES, IT FEELS HUMID, BUT THAT TWO POINT IS GOING TO BE KIND OF FLIRTING WITH 69, 70, 71 OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. IT’S GOING TO GET A LITTLE BIT HIGHER BY THE END OF THE WEEK. SO IT’S PROBABLY GOING TO FEEL A LITTLE MORE HUMID IN THE AFTERNOONS. THIS IS A LOOK AT THE SATELLITE AND RADAR COMPOSITE. THERE’S THE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT’S BRINGING US KIND OF AN EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WIND. BUT HERE’S THE SIGNIFICANT CHANGE THAT’S GOING TO BE HAPPENING OVER THE NEXT THREE, FOUR DAYS OR SO. RIGHT NOW, AT THE UPPER LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE, THE AIR IS VERY, VERY DRY. MORE MOISTURE IS GOING TO BE COMING IN. NOW THAT MEANS WE COULD HAVE A COUPLE OF AFTERNOON SHOWERS, AND THE CLOUDS ARE PROBABLY GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT THICKER, BUT THE CHANCE FOR RAIN IS GOING TO STAY PRETTY LOW. HERE’S A LOOK AT YOUR AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURE TODAY. CLOSE TO 90 DEGREES. PICKING UP ON 1 OR 2 SHOWERS. MORE LIKE A SPRINKLE IF WE DO SEE ONE. INDEED. AND THE CHANCE FOR RAIN IS LESS THAN 10% TODAY. CHANCE FOR RAIN STAYING LOW OVERNIGHT, BUT BY TOMORROW MORNING IT’S GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT FOGGY. BOGALUSA IN PARTICULAR, I THINK THE FOG MAY BE THE THICKEST FOR YOU. IT’S WHERE VISIBILITY MIGHT BE DOWN TO A MILE OR SO. THEN TOMORROW AFTERNOON, HIGH TEMPERATURE AGAIN, GETTING UP CLOSE TO 90 DEGREES. REALLY NOT PICKING UP ON ANY SIGNIFICANT SHOWERS. BUT THE MOISTURE WILL START TO INCREASE AS WINDS BECOME MORE SOUTHERLY. WEDNESDAY MORNING. GOING TO BE FOGGY AGAIN, BUT THE CHANCE FOR SIGNIFICANT RAIN AS WE GO. WEDNESDAY THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY. THIS IS YOUR LONG, LONG, LONG RANGE FORECAST INTO THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK INTO MEMORIAL DAY. CHANCE FOR RAIN, STAYING VERY LOW, BUT WITH THAT SOUTHERLY WIND IT’S GOING TO FEEL A LITTLE MORE HUMID. SUNNY SKIES AND WARM. TODAY. I PUT A BIT HUMID THERE BECAUSE IT’S GOING TO BE A BIT MORE HUMID BY THE END OF THE WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURE CLOSE TO 90 DEGREES TONIGHT. MOSTLY CLEAR. SOME PATCHY FOG TOWARD MORNING. IT SHOULD NOT BE A MAJOR CONCERN. I THINK THE THICKEST FOG IS GOING TO BE LATER IN THE WEEK. MOSTLY SUNNY, A BIT HUMID. NO RAIN TOMORROW WITH A HIGH TEMPERATURE AGAIN. UPPER 80S, CLOSE TO 90. I HAVE MORNING FOG ON THE GRAPHIC PRETTY MUCH ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEKEND, BUT I THINK BY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THAT FOG IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT THICKER. THEY’LL BE A LITTLE MORE MOISTURE IN THE ATMOSPHERE, STARTING TO GET A LITTLE BIT BREEZY FOR US BY SUNDAY,
