A video of a UFO-like object spotted in arlington, Texas during Monday's solar eclipse is going viral on social media. Neither NASA nor any other authority have issued a statement about the alleged spotting. Free-speech advocate Matt Wallace posted the clip on X, platform formerly known as Twitter, just before 3 AM BST on April 9. He said the object was seen during the total eclipse.

A video of a UFO-like object spotted in Arlington, Texas during Monday's solar eclipse is going viral on social media. Neither NASA nor any other authority have issued a statement about the alleged spotting. Free-speech advocate Matt Wallace posted the clip on X, platform formerly known as Twitter, just before 3 AM BST on April 9. He said the object was seen during the total eclipse.

"A new video just surfaced of the UFO spotted over Arlington Texas during the solar eclipse today and people are freaking out because it seems to disappear into the clouds," Wallace tweeted along with the video. However, ne provided no concrete evidence proving the object was actually an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).

The video starts with focusing on the eclipse - then partial. An object is then seeing travelling quicky through the clouds. The clip then zooms out and the object can be seen disappearing suddenly. Wallace's post has been retweeted almost ten thousand times and liked more than 56 thousand times.

Other social media users have also shared the same clip. "A mysterious UFO sighting during the total solar eclipse in Arlington, Texas has sparked intrigue and speculation. What do you think it is? 👀" one person said on X.

Another one said he thinks it was just a shadow of a plane. "I scrubbed back and forth with the new angle of the Texas UFO footage. Many people saw this. Probably the shadow of a plane ✈️"

The United States, Mexico, Canada and Norther Altantic region witnessed a historic total solar eclipse on Monday.
