BEAVER, WV (WVNS) – With winter weather hitting southern West Virginia this past week, road conditions have been snowy.
When facing winter weather such as snow or ice, sometimes vehicles need a tow truck to help. With snow accumulating on roadways, vehicles are more likely to slide and sometimes crash.

In some situations, a tow truck is a necessity.
Rick Burgess, Owner of ‘Beverages Towing and Transport’, describes the work they have done this past week.
“Just multiple cars piled up in the same area. The inability to get to them all just due to the inclement weather. It’s kind of just a mashup of things similar to that as well” said Burgess to 59News.
To avoid risk, Burgess urges drivers to not travel unless they have to.
