Towing to resume in Port of Spain, says POS City Corp.

Drivers who have been parking illegally along the streets of Port of Spain are advised that towing activities will be resuming in the country's capital. 

In an update today, the Port of Spain City Corporation said drivers parking illegally at street corners, pedestrian crossings, fire hydrants, bus stops, taxi stands and gateways will be towed, effective May 29, 2024. 

The release fee is TT$500 plus an additional fee of TT$200 for each day or part thereof that the vehicle is kept in custody, the notice said. 

Towed vehicles can be retrieved from the impound lot loacted at Dock Road, off Wrightson Road.
