Trial begins for man accused of killing Texas woman

Collin County prosecutors today told a jury that Ocaster Ferguson, 33, grand prairie, is trying to get away with murder.

Ferguson is accused of killing 33-year old Kayla Kelly, a woman whom he was dating. A prosecutor told the jury that Ferguson was actually dating several women, all while he was married.

Police say Ferguson was using a fake name, and that when Kelly found out he was married she threatened to tell Ferguson's wife Police say that was the motive for Ferguson to smother Kelly.

Her body was buried near Ferguson's home in Grand Prairie and set her car on fire near Frisco. The jury has already heard from Irish Anderson, a cousin of Kelly's who said Kelly had to overcome obstacles in life because both her parents had addictions. Testimony resumes tomorrow morning.
