(KRON) — Several people were arrested and three vehicles were towed as a result of sideshow activity over the weekend, according to the Vallejo Police Department. Vallejo PD units responded to reports of a sideshow at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 in the area of Hichborn Street and Wilson Avenue.
According to police, callers reported around 300 vehicles participating in the sideshow with traffic in the area impeded.

Arriving at the scene, officers saw a gray Toyota Camry and a white Lexus IS300 taking part in the sideshow. Officers conducted traffic stops on both vehicles. All the occupants were arrested, cited and released.
The Toyota and the Lexus were towed from the scene.
The following day, on Saturday, Jan. 28 at around 1:37 a.m., officers saw a gray Chevrolet Corvette doing donuts at N. Camino Alto and Sereno Drive. A traffic stop was conducted, the driver was cited and released, and the vehicle was towed.
Vehicles impounded in Vallejo for participating in sideshows are held for 30 days and incur fees totaling around $2,589, according to according to Vallejo PD.
