West Mifflin radioactive truck towing prompts Hazmat call

There was a scare in West Mifflin Wednesday which prompted a call to Hazmat teams. Several emergency agencies responded to Copart Auto Auction just before noon, after a truck that had been towed there was found to have radioactive markings on it and on a crate inside. The truck was checked by radiation techs with negative findings. Medics evaluated six workers for possible exposure. Hazmat found some residual acid in the truck. An environmental company was called to clean the truck and dispose of the acid.
