Crystal Window and Door Systems will construct an advanced manufacturing facility and regional corporate headquarters on 44 acres in mansfield. It’s along the city’s Innovation Corridor at the unique mushroom property north of Heritage Parkway and west of 287.
The manufacturing facility will be constructed in four phases. The first phase will consist of 650,000 square feet and result in an investment of $136 million. The project will create 504 new jobs. The headquarters will be built in the second phase, adding about 100 corporate jobs.
Crystal Window and Door Systems has been awarded a $3,150,000 Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant. Crystal Window & Door Systems was founded in 1990 and now has five manufacturing plants across the U.S.
Besides a burgeoning innovation community campus, the town will soon be home to a film production studio to be built on 72 acres of undeveloped land. In addition to a cluster of five studios, the $70-million project envisions restaurants, a hotel, and retail space.
